<br />
So this is what I just ordered from Sharper Image. With the humidity and heat I'm gearing up for I need everything that could possibly help! You wear it around your neck. It uses 1 AA battery and some bottled water, it seems a nicer addition compared to the normal sopping wet dew rag drenched in Florida water and its not very fashionable to have the drippy shirt look when talking to the customers... ewwwww! Nasty feeling too! But, when its 107 out your not really worried what your looking like, other than the melted look! So, this is what I got, I'll give it a review shout once I've tried it out and tested it in REAL heat and Louisiana humidity!!!<br />
Chow for now Diva's!<br />

</tbody></table>So as we all know, the weather has been frightening. And I myself admit, I'm not used to these frigid temps, being from the south all of my life. I find myself, once again, counting my blessings that I am able to work in my warm house without the necessity to abandon it to pursue employment for "the man" at a day job elsewhere.... big time counting my blessings! The most I go outside lately is to get my little one on and off of the school bus.... and that's no fashion picnic for me. These are the newest babies I've created with my day job in the studio..... in my home..... yey!!!<br />

<span style="font-family: inherit;">So I've decided to do a bit of winter freshening up the studio, before the family comes for Christmas, because everybody wants to see where I do my work. I mainly think its because they want to see how much more beads I've added to the collection! So, I've decided to give you a peek at the palace. Warning! Its far from perfect but its functional. The one thing I've finally discovered is the "stackable paper bins" I use for my bead storage boxes, they work awesome!!! No more shuffling to get to the box on the bottom and worrying about them all tumbling over and beadtastrophy! My husband built the work center, which was originally built for my sewing and computer area, but now its used for the creation station! Here it is.</span><br />

As you can see from the pics I have to share my beading studio with my music recording studio because that's where I keep the computer and I use Sonar recording software on my PC to do this. I'm in the midst of recording my demo for my upcoming band project release early next year in 2011. I've also had to move my picture cube to the balcony right outside of my work room, which I can't stand but hopefully I'll be able to change that as soon as the hubby builds a wall and puts a whole in another. A soon hoped for expansion of the square office! Then I can separate work area from computer, picture, recording area.<a name='more'></a>Pretty soon I'll have a new floor, the Bubba is adding some laminate flooring so I can swish around correctly on my rolling chair.... this is the reason behind two chairs.... carpet in there really sucks! There you have it. Oh and that's by buddy dude. He keeps me company all day! </span><br />

<br />
So I go to sleep, its 72 degrees, I wake up, I'm FREEZING! From 72 to 45 in a night... welcome to the wonderful world of southern living. But, I gotta say, its better than snow... its purty, but, its cold, I need time to acclimate! And that's why lots of people down here are sick. Other than we've got to go to work instead of staying home and taking care of ourselves and keeping our disease to ourselves. Luckily, last week, I was able to do just that. Unfortunately I was sick but, I was able to stay in bed and be funky and pukey all by my lonesome and not make others feel as rotten as I did. One week later and a bottle of liquid Echinacea, I'm feeling like my old crazy, non-stop, hyper-driven self! Woohoo! So, I created a few pretties today while I was enjoying not having to wipe my eyes and nose every 5 minutes.<br />
<br />

I bought this in smaller pieces because I'm just feeling the waters on these. I did make 2 of these about a month ago and I sold them in a matter of minutes... they flew off of my tables and one of the customers who bought one came back for the other, which I'd already sold. So I decided to make some more. Hopefully they go as fast as the others! <br />

<div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">So, I get this desperate cry of urgency and help for that matter from a dear friend of mine, who also got me a great singing gig for Nicolas Cage, would I please help him with his next party endeavor he was putting together and could I MC it for him? Well, one of those Friday nights I happen to be doing nothing so I knew it be a blast just being at one of his events and getting paid for it, oh yeah, count me in! So this is how the night ended, me posing with "the King", and I thoroughly enjoyed his 20 minute tribute! He really sang all of the Elvis numbers and gave out autographed scarves, as you can see the "red" one I was given, along with a kiss of course. If your ever in need of Elvis, check out Randy Bonneval for all your "the King" needs at </span><a href="http://randyelvisbonneval.com/"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">http://randyelvisbonneval.com/</span></a><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"> he's definitely worth it!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlwJoO3LCoRYIYgzzwPeJM0sjPUdGnNqs594rRNKAa68YqGJRLkisPrcJzCWce8m4KP5YqOZK4XQhdTZhySwQ-1FDB1N7_NMhhkucFb1vQYoDcJk-OIoGAD-qDjiDUvWyVUTo83_8gITzi/s1600/nic+%2526+jon.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlwJoO3LCoRYIYgzzwPeJM0sjPUdGnNqs594rRNKAa68YqGJRLkisPrcJzCWce8m4KP5YqOZK4XQhdTZhySwQ-1FDB1N7_NMhhkucFb1vQYoDcJk-OIoGAD-qDjiDUvWyVUTo83_8gITzi/s320/nic+%2526+jon.jpg" width="168" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">The party goes smoothly and calmly and yes, was sooo very much fun. This was actually the first time I'd ever dressed up in fifties attire! I thought the whole fifties theme thing was a great plus to the 50 year anniversary the couple was celebrating. My friend, Tony, was pleasantly pleased with the whole aftermath and surprised at the feedback he'd received considering he through this one together in a matter of 2 weeks. But this is a professional party coordinator who puts parties together in no less than 8 months to a year mostly, so you can imagine... even Nic Cage would've been proud, being the huge Elvis fan that he is! </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">No, my hair is not purple, all the time.... but it was fun to dress up for those Mardi Gras Kings of Bacchus parade parties! Yep, I slimmed down quite a bit for Jon Lovitz the following year for his King party. </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">I definitely enjoy my second job.... singing for stars!!! Now how do I get a gig to sing for Robert Pattinson??? </span></div></td><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"></span></td><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"></span></td><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"></span></td><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"></span></td><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"></span></td><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"></span></td><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New",Courier,monospace;">So this is my new blog, hmmmm. Something else to keep up within the busy schedule that I tend to keep. But, I'm told, people want to see what I'm up to, whats new and whats to come. I figured, I'd give it a shot. </span></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: "Courier New",Courier,monospace;">These are some of my newest babies. I'm really enjoying the photo jewelry with the resin domed on top. These really have that old city feel to them. Anyone who's been here or lives here truly loves to represent their sentiment of this great old city. She just leaves a lasting impression on your heart. I live here and when I go away for a bit, I really get homesick! Its very strange for me. The love hate relationship I have with this town. Its like salt and sugar and hot and cold water, truly either or, but always have to have them. Always need my Nawlin's fix. So, I hope you like them and I hope you'll add me to your blogger list cause theirs surely more to come. I'm just starting, and I'm sure my blog will evolve into the crazy uncontainable personality that I really am! Hope to see you again!</span></span></div>madamesinghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05807185419930091824noreply@blogger.com4
